an antidote to fast fashion
Putting a whimsical twist on Scandinavian minimalism, Ingmarson is known for its charming embroidered motifs and fuss-free, pared-back designs. Its dedication to eco-friendly production is reflected in its use of locally produced, ethically sourced, and organic fabrics in its garments, which are designed to outlast trends as beloved, versatile staple pieces. INGMARSON was born by Robert Ingemarsson in the summer of 2017 as an antidote to fast fashion and to provide an affordable option in the sustainable fashion space.

SUSTAINABILITY & SUPPLY CHAIN
We knit all our knitwear in our studio on demand using only ethically sourced & traceable yarns from Italy with high standards of animal welfare.
All embroideries are made in our London studio. 100% of the raw materials for our embroidery threads come from sustainable forestry and are pollutant-free, and along with the backing used for embroidery, are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, come from ISO-approved processes, and are free from APO/ PE plasticisers. All of our cotton garments are certified as 100% GOTS certified organic. The Recycled range base garments before the embroidery have been made in Bangladesh from 50% recycled organic cotton taken from their in-house cutting waste, and 50% undyed virgin organic cotton. As well as using fewer raw materials and reducing waste, we eliminate the dyeing process, making these styles our most sustainable yet.
Our silk scarfs are made from 100% natural fibres printed in the U.K./Birmingham then finished off in our London studio. Printing direct to fabric means less wasted surplus ink (unlike dyeing) through precise application of the artwork. The inks we use are certificated as Azo dye-free. We have designed our scarfs to use the full width of the fabric to make sure there is zero fabric waste in the printing and manufacturing process.
